While visiting Passau during Viking River Cruise we happened upon Cafe Roses while shopping and looking for a quaint place to have lunch. It was fantastic, the service was good and the food was amazing. I ordered the Ciao Hamburger, wasn't real sure what I was getting, but definitely wasn't disappointed, best hamburger I've ever eaten. I highly recommend Cafe Roses.

The Apfelstrudel (apple strudel) was awesome!! Service was very good and the restrooms were very clean.

Found this little gem off the main drag near the cathedral. After 12hrs of travelling we were very happy with the Farmer burger (best onion rings ever) & the shrimp pasta. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating with our lack of German. They serve a weisen beer on tap. Reasonably priced at €28 for a meal for two.
I consider myself a bit of a burger enthusiast. Recently tried a pork then a chicken burger in Welsh country pub where all the ingredients were locally sourced blah blah blah... and I can honestly say this simple beef burger smashed both those two out of the park. So happy with my burger. I just like saying burger! Burger burger burger!
Would defo go back again if we were staying longer than one night. Thanks guys for the delicious meal!
